Great Impressions Stamps | August Sneak Peek

Good morning!

I have a super cute card to share this morning using a couple of new stamps that will be available on the Great Impressions Stamps website beginning August 1st: Large Stitched Flower and Stitched Flowers. The smaller flower is actually part of a larger stamp that I cut down to make stamping easier. I created the background by randomly stamping the two flower images using PTI's Aqua Mist and New Leaf ink. I stamped the sentiment, also from Great Impressions, using Ranger's Archival Black ink onto a PTI Limitless Layers Circles die cut.

(Supplies - Stamps: (Great Impressions) Large Stitched Flower, Stitched Flowers (available 8/1), Wishing You. Ink: (PTI) New Leaf, Aqua Mist. Cardstock: (PTI) Aqua Must, Hawaiian Shores. Patterned Paper: (PTI) New Leaf, Aqua Mist Patterns Packs. Dies: (PTI) Beautiful Butterflies, Limitless Layers. Other: Resin Flower, twine, gems.)

That's it for me today! Make sure to check out the Great Impressions Stamps store on August 1st to see the rest of the August release. Have a wonderful day!

Papertrey Ink | July Blog Hop

*This is my second post of the day. Please scroll down to see today's Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog post.*

Hi there! I am playing along with this month's Papertrey Ink blog hop: fruits of summer color inspiration.

Mini blooms is such a beautiful floral set & it is the only stamp set I used on this card. The background (blue) flowers were stamped with Aqua Mist ink. The other flowers were stamped with Summer Sunrise, Pure Poppy, and Scarlet Jewel ink. The sentiment is also Scarlet Jewel, and the leaves are New Leaf.

That's it for me today! I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Introducing Beachy Keen

Hi there! Today is my last release week post for Fresh Squeezed Stamps, and this stamp set is perfect for summer!

This set features adorable sunglasses and flip flop images, sentiments, and a beach chair & umbrella. For my card I worked with the glasses, flip flops, and one of the sentiments. I stamped the glasses and flip flops onto patterned paper, trimmed, then adhered them to my card. For the split sentiment, I did some selective inking with Memento's jet black ink. A bright yellow bow & some buttons finish off the card.

I hope you've enjoyed this month's release week stamps and samples! Make sure to check out the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog for more inspiration and a chance to see this set in full.

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Introducing Sublime Citrus

Good morning!

I am delighted to showcase another new stamp set from Fresh Squeezed Stamps this morning: Sublime Citrus.

This set features several great images, including an adorable lemonade pitcher & glass, a lemon (or lime!), and fun sentiments.

I used yellow polka dot patterned paper for the lemonade on my card, and stamped the ice cubes directly onto the trimmed images. The scene just makes me happy... I love everything about this set!

You can check out the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog to see the rest of the design team samples, and for a chance to win this set. :)

**This is my second post of the day. Please scroll down to see this week's release week card for Fresh Squeezed Stamps.**

Hi there! Today's card for Great Impressions Stamps features a super cute elephant stamp called Elephant with Kite. Isn't he adorable?!? I used patterned paper from Echo Park's Bundle of Joy collection (available in the Great Impressions Stamps store) for the background & banners.

(Supplies - Stamp: (Great Impressions Stamps) Elephant with Kite. Cardstock: (PTI) White, black. Patterned Paper: (Echo Park) Bundle of Joy. Dies: (PTI) Sketched Shapes, Baby Button Bits. Other: Button, twine, gems.)

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Introducing Everday Expressions

Good morning and welcome to release week at Fresh Squeezed Stamps! Today's card features an adorable new set called Everyday Expressions.

This set includes several bloom & leaf images, along with some really great sentiments. For my card, I stamped the long stem horizontally onto a piece of white cardstock, then colored the leaves with green Copic markers. I stamped the flowers on a scratch piece of cardstock and cut them out, then adhered them on top of the stamped leaves. I popped the two large flowers up with dimensional adhesive. The sentiment was stamped with Ranger's Archival black ink.

You can check out the rest of the DT's projects on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog, and make sure to leave a comment for a chance to win this fabulous new set!

Check back tomorrow for another peek at this month's new release.

Wplus9 | Monday Mood Board #16

Hey guys! I have a quick post tonight to share a card I created for this week's Monday Mood Board #16 (for Wplus9).

I used three Wplus9 stamp sets for my card: Fresh Cut Florals, Strictly Sentiments 2, and Quilt Prints. The stripes were created using Papertrey Ink's Background Basics: Super Stripes. I loved the purple and green color combination from the inspiration photo, so I used PTI's Winter Wisteria and Limeade Ice and Stampin' Up's Concord Crush for the dark purple. The black ink is Ranger's Archival black.

That's it for me today! I am off to watch another episode of Game of Thrones before bed.

Thanks for stopping by!

Great Impressions Stamps | Simple Butterfly

Good morning! Today is not my usual posting day for Great Impressions Stamps, but due to our vacation I asked to switch to Saturday. I had a chance to play in my studio tonight (yay!) and I pulled out three Great Impressions stamps for today's card: Polka Dots, Flower Flourish, and Simple Things.

(Supplies - Stamps: (GI) Polka Dots, Flower Flourish, and Simple Things. Ink: (Stampin' Up!) Smokey Slate. Cardstock: (PTI) White. Patterned Paper: (Studio Calico) July Card Kit. Doily: Stampin' Up! Tag: (Studio Calico) July Card Kit. Button: Doodlebug. Twine: Stampin' Up! Ribbon: Papertrey Ink. Gems: Unknown. Dies: (Papertrey Ink) Sketched Shapes and Beautiful Butterfly.)

I used the polka dot stamp to decorate a basic office supply tag. I layered a die cut butterfly, gems, and banner (with sentiment) on top. The cute little button and white ribbon finish it off. For the gray flourish in the background I did some selective inking to stamp just one end of the Flower Flourish stamp, to add some interest to the pink patterned paper. More gems and green twine were added last.

That's it for me today! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | String Me Along

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great week. We arrived home on Tuesday after taking the red-eye home from Washington late Monday night. The kids were troopers and slept through most of both flights. I managed a couple of hours here and there, but the three hour nap I took Tuesday afternoon (in my own bed!) was wonderful. It is definitely good to be home.

For my card I used the cute little lantern/light from Fresh Squeezed Stamps' String Me Along set to create a birthday card. I love how each of the images hangs from the large "string" image... so cute for birthday and celebration cards! I stamped the light with Memento ink, then colored in the bulb and lid of the jar with Copic markers. I added the "Happy Birthday to You" sentiment (from Happy Hexagons) in black Archival Ink. I added a few hand cut banners and some sequins to finish off the card:

That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Paper Lanterns

Good morning!  Erin here with a CAS card today featuring String Me Along. I love the paper lanterns in this set and I think they make a fabulous card all by themselves (paired with a sentiment, of course!).

I stamped the string + lanterns with Memento ink, then used Copic markers to color them in.  My mom has a great selection of crystals, and I added them to the bottom of each lantern for a little sparkle.  I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of cardstock before trimming it into a banner. I finished off the card with some yellow patterned paper and string.

That's it for me today! Have a wonderful weekend. :)

Great Impressions Stamps | Birdcage Card

Good morning!

I hope everyone is having a great week. I created a bright and colorful card for today's post using Great Impressions Bird on Cage stamp. I paired the image with some fun pink and aqua paper and a great transparency from Simon Says Stamp. I colored the bird with pink Copic markers and covered her with Stickles for a little extra sparkle.

(Supplies - Stamp: (Great Impressions Stamps) Bird on Cage. Ink: (Memento) Black. Cardstock: (Stampin' Up!) White, pink. Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye, Simon Says Stamp. Die: (PTI) Turning a New Leaf, Headline Alpha. Other: Stickles, gems, twine.)

That's it for me! Today is our last day on vacation in Oregon so we are off to the pool and tennis courts with the kids. Have a wonderful day!

Great Impressions Stamps | July Challenge

Good morning! This month's challenge for Great Impressions Stamps is Anything Goes. What could be easier? I pulled out GI's Patterned Chick stamp for my card:

(Supplies - Stamp: (Great Impressions) Patterned Chick. Cardstock: (Stampin' Up!) White, Real Red. Markers: Copic. Letter stickers: Kelly Purkey.

Isn't the little chick cute? I love the country feel of the chick with the red, blue, and yellow color combo.

The munchkins and I are vacationing in Oregon for the next few days... lots of swimming, biking, and family time planned. Have a wonderful week!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps | Happy Birthday to You!

Good morning and Happy 4th of July! I am thrilled to share my first card for Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

For my card, I used one of the hexagons from Happy Hexagons to create background paper, alternating between six ink colors. After I stamped the background I filled in the empty spaces with a small circle stamp from On Trend 2013. The scalloped stamp from Background Check looks like streamers, which matched the birthday sentiment, so I stamped it on peach cardstock before adhering it to the background paper. A few buttons and frames from On Trend 2013 finishes off the card!

Check back tomorrow for more inspiration using Fresh Squeezed Stamps on the FSS blog! Have a wonderful week. :)

Great Impressions Stamps | Thinking of You

Good morning!

I hope everyone is having a great week. I love that my mom has her own office/studio full of stamp supplies... I am on vacation but still get to create cards. It's a win-win!

For this week's card I pulled out Flower Bouquet, a definite favorite of mine, for a pink & teal "thinking of you" card:

(Supplies - Stamp: (Great Impressions) Flower Bouquet. Ink: (Memento) Tuxedo Black. Cardstock: (Stampin' Up!) White, Pool Party, Strawberry Slush. Markers: Copic. Dies: (PTI) Edgers Die. Embossing folder: Stampin' Up! Letter stickers: Kelley Purkey for Simon Says Stamps. Other: Ribbon, buttons, twine, gems.)

That's it for me today. The kids and I are off to the zoo in a bit... hopefully we don't melt in the heat!

Have a great week. :)
